Newstead – Bathroom Renovation

Starting as a major repair project, this inner Brisbane warehouse conversion was originally an architecturally designed home that unfortunately experienced water leaking issues into the downstairs area.

The first priority was to fix the water damage and leaking issues.  Then we could re-create the bathroom providing a modern, spacious room with all the elements of a functional everyday bathroom with special features that worked with the original high-end design of the home.

The unique bathtub was from Italy and includes custom finished gunmetal tapware.

Our cabinet maker created the western red cedar vanity and the matching mirror cupboard above allowing for ample storage, and the concrete basin was sourced for the project.

A spacious walk-in shower, with herringbone floor tiles throughout complements the wall tiles and an abundance of natural light.

The patio was also upgraded to feature an attractive awning, giving the property an extra living space.

The team was very careful not to impact the other rooms in the home during this project.  We lined the house with special flooring so we could move the equipment in and out with any damages to the flooring.  Each day we set up & disestablished ourselves at the end of the day.

Over our career we have completed over 350 bathrooms and this has been the most rewarding bathroom renovation project to date.
